Software development leadtimes and costs had spiralled, making new programmes and improvments cost prohibitive.

 

To continue with world class offerings the entire software development function needed to be rethought.

To hit strategic targets and maintain the competitive edge, productivity needed to be significantly improved from requirements definition to implementation and documentation.

 

The new system needed to deliver finished software packages at 50% of the cost, within 12 months.​

Value Stream mapping to enable the leadership to see the flow. Agile scrums, kanbans supported by visual management and common block techniques methodology used to create the future state.
